Among the standout creations in this chapter are Mandala Chromia, Drops of Paraíba, Serti Libre, and Rainbow Supreme. Mandala Chromia, a gold medallion necklace framed by brown diamonds, is centered on a hand-pierced openwork motif set with 99 rare multicolor natural sapphires in shifting nuances of pink, violet, yellow, blue, orange and green. Combining serti libre and Pomellato’s irregular setting, the creation, unique and impossible to replicate, conveys the Maison’s most daring vision of color. Drops of Paraíba, a semi-rigid choker capturing the electric poetry of light in motion, is set with 21 pear-shaped Paraíba tourmalines, each stone unique in size and shade, totalling 20.15 carats. Like a rain of shining droplets, the gems are set with Pomellato’s serti libre technique in a fluid, irregular composition. The accompanying drop earrings extend the same shimmering language of rare intensity. Serti Libre unfolds as three statement rings reinterpreting Pomellato’s obsession with colors and volumes through the Maison’s serti libre technique. Colored gemstones such as Mandarin garnets, pink spinels and tsavorites, combined with baguettecut diamonds or irregular pavé, create an unexpected rhythm of audacious colors and bold shapes. The result is vibrant, asymmetrical, and instinctive. Rainbow Supreme rivière necklace features an exceptional chromatic gradation of 68 round-cut tourmalines, totaling more than 157 carats flowing into a fluid spectrum of light, from transparent to pink, yellow, and green in a continuous dégradé.
