Tabuk, July 07, 2026, SPA -- King Khalid Hospital, part of Tabuk Health Cluster, has been awarded Baby-Friendly Hospital accreditation under the General Directorate of Nutrition's Breastfeeding Promotion Program.

The recognition follows the hospital's successful assessment against the standards of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI), based on criteria established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.

The accreditation reflects the hospital's commitment to implementing international best practices in supporting breastfeeding and providing integrated healthcare for mothers and infants. It contributes to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and raising the standard of care in line with international best practices.
