Diriyah, February 09, 2026, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Monday evening welcomed to Diriyah the Prince of Wales and heir apparent to the throne of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Prince William.
HRH the Crown Prince accompanied Prince William on a tour of the historic At-Turaif District, the birthplace of the Saudi state and the capital of the first Saudi State.

The visit highlighted the traditional Najdi architectural style in At-Turaif, with Prince William viewing the palaces of the imams and leaders of the First Saudi State. A commemorative photo was taken in front of Salwa Palace, a historic seat of governance during the era of the first Saudi State. The visit also included a presentation of the Diriyah project master plan.
