Riyadh, February 16, 2026, SPA -- Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met in Riyadh with Assistant to the President of the United States and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) Michael Kratsios to discuss prospects for partnership in innovation policy, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, as well as strengthening the digital economy and the space ecosystem.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding cooperation in capacity building and national talent development to support digital economy growth, enhance both countries’ competitiveness in advanced technologies, and foster shared opportunities in the transition to the intelligent era.
