Astana, July 2, 2026, SPA -- Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin met on Wednesday in Astana with Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Muhammad Al Jasser.

During the meeting, they reviewed the growing partnership between Kazakhstan and the IsDB Group, with the IsDB’s cumulative approvals exceeding $4.24 billion, including $2.5 billion approved since 2024.

The two sides also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in priority sectors, with a shared focus on high-quality implementation, greater alignment with Kazakhstan's national plans and systems, and achieving sustainable development impact.
