Sudanese Traditions in Jeddah Reflect Ramadan Spirit of Warmth and Togetherness

Jeddah, February 25, 2026, SPA -- The Sudanese community living in Jeddah Governorate revives Ramadan scenes and traditions that distinguish it from others. Families and neighbors gather around one shared Ramadan table, reflecting strong bonds and offering a vivid picture of the holy month.

During Ramadan, Sudanese residents work to reinforce those customs through social closeness among families and neighbors, extending across the wider Sudanese community.

Ahmed Bashir told the Saudi Press Agency that Sudanese residents across Saudi Arabia feel deep emotions marked by affection. He said they feel they belong to this country. He attributed that to the security, safety and stability they enjoy, and to Saudi Arabia's generosity toward residents from all communities.

Mohammed Hussein expressed his thanks for the services Saudi Arabia provides to communities of different nationalities. He said it offers an atmosphere marked by affection, along with a supportive and stable environment for residents.
