Handicrafts Showcase Heritage at Al-Jouf Dates Festival

Dumat Al-Jandal, February 01, 2026, SPA -- The handicrafts section at the 12th Al-Jouf Dates Festival, held in Dumat Al-Jandal Governorate, attracted visitors with an artistic display that embodied the rich heritage of the past and the beauty of the present, crafted by local artisans.

The section features several specialized areas showcasing Sadu weaving, handicrafts inspired by Al-Jouf’s heritage, and paintings and embroidery that celebrate national identity.

The festival provides a platform for families working in the cottage industry and artisans, with 40 dedicated booths for displaying and marketing their creative products to the public.

Organizers said the participation of artisans aims to promote local tourism and revive the traditional crafts for which the region is renowned.
