Minister of Communications Meets Global Tech Leaders to Strengthen Partnerships in AI, Cloud Computing

Davos, January 21, 2026, SPA -- Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a series of meetings with global technology company leaders during the Saudi delegation’s participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The meetings aimed to discuss developing partnerships in artificial intelligence (AI), automation, cloud computing, and data, aiming to boost the digital economy and keep pace with smart-era advancements.

As part of advancing digital business and enterprise AI solutions, the minister met with ServiceNow Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill McDermott to discuss leveraging automation and AI to enhance digital service efficiency and boost productivity.

Minister Alswaha also met with Nokia President and CEO Justin Hotard to discuss partnership opportunities in advanced communication networks and their role in building a reliable digital infrastructure that supports innovation and growth.

Moreover, he met with Apple Vice President of Global Government Affairs Nick Ammann to deliberate on strengthening collaboration on technology policy, fostering technology innovation, and building partnerships that support entrepreneurship in the smart era.

In the context of advancing partnerships in data and cloud computing technologies, the minister held a meeting with Snowflake Chief Executive Officer Sridhar Ramaswamy to discuss data and AI solutions and their role in enabling digital business.

Additionally, he met with Hoover Institution distinguished visiting fellow Anne Neuberger to explore expanding partnerships in AI and advancing international cooperation.
