‘Villa Hegra' Participates in AlUla Arts Festival

AlUla, January 20, 2026, SPA -- As part of AlUla Arts Festival 2026, held January 16 to February 14, “Villa Tegra,” the first Saudi-French cultural institution, is contributing to the festival within the framework of cultural events that support tourism activity and strengthen AlUla's presence as a cultural destination.

AlUla Arts Festival is among the cultural initiatives that have helped diversify the tourism experience through the exhibitions and art installations, performance art shows, and cultural experiences staged in open-air sites, integrated with AlUla’s distinctive natural and heritage assets.

The fifth annual festival features contemporary exhibitions and art installations as well as specialized artistic experiences. “Desert X AlUla” stands out as a key highlight, presenting artwork that blends with the natural environment in Wadi AlFann, further enhancing AlUla's position in cultural tourism and land art.
The program also includes an exhibition in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou and the Museum of Contemporary Art in AlUla, in addition to a dedicated design arts program.

Villa Hegra is participating in the festival for the second time through a cultural program focusing on performance arts, photography, cinema, and design, enriching the cultural content offered to visitors and promoting cultural exchange between Saudi artists and their counterparts from France and other countries.

The program accompanying Villa Hegra’s participation includes live performances and artwork staged in open-air locations, alongside music programs and cultural workshops, supporting an integrated tourism experience and reflecting AlUla’s direction toward offering contemporary cultural content rooted in the local environment and civilizational heritage.
