Nicosia, January 08, 2026, SPA -- On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji has attended in Nicosia the opening ceremony for the Republic of Cyprus as it assumes the presidency of the Council of the European Union. This presidency will last from January to June 2026.
