Madinah, May 04, 2026, SPA -- A scientific seminar held as part of the International Conference on Arabic Language and Applied Sciences examined the national policy for the Arabic language in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on vision, foundations, and prospects for impact.

The event is organized by the Islamic University of Madinah in strategic partnership with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL). It is taking place at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah.

Participants discussed key themes related to language policy in the Kingdom, including national efforts to support Arabic through decisions and policies.
Discussions also highlighted KSGAAL's role in language planning and policy development.

The seminar addressed the foundations of the national Arabic language policy, its areas of application, ways of implementing language policies across institutions, and the challenges associated with them.
