Riyadh, July 15, 2026, SPA -- Spain advanced to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final after defeating France 2-0 in semifinal match at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, United States.

Spain controlled the match and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Mikel Oyarzabal from the penalty spot after Lamine Yamal was fouled inside the penalty area. Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the 58th minute.

France pushed for a comeback in the second half but was denied by Spain's organized defense and a series of crucial saves from goalkeeper Unai Simón, who preserved his clean sheet to secure Spain's place in the final.

With the victory, Spain will face the winner of the England-Argentina semifinal in the World Cup final, while France will compete in the third-place playoff.
