Riyadh, January 27, 2026, SPA -- Seven specialized workshops held as part of the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building (ICAN 2026) will address the future of education and work in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), highlighting key themes related to human capacity development and its link to education and the labor market. The workshops will cover a range of topics in AI, data analysis, and practical AI applications, aiming to equip participants with advanced skills and applied knowledge aligned with rapid technological developments. The conference, organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), will be held at King Saud University from January 27 to 29, with the participation of experts representing more than 50 local and global entities. The event is taking place with strategic partnership with Elm, academic partnership with King Saud University, and knowledge partnership with the Human Capability Development Program. The workshops will feature wide participation from leading technology companies and institutions, including Stanford University, Google Cloud, IBM, Microsoft, PwC, atomcamp, and Amazon, in addition to the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) and the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
