Madinah, August 04, 2026, SPA -- The Madinah Health Cluster has launched an awareness campaign marking World Breastfeeding Week to highlight the importance of breastfeeding and encourage mothers to give their children the healthiest possible start in life.

 The campaign aims to promote the health benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants, encourage breastfeeding practices, address common misconceptions, and raise awareness of the breastfeeding support and consultation services available through the cluster's healthcare facilities.

 The Madinah Health Cluster emphasized that breastfeeding plays a vital role in a child's healthy growth and development by strengthening the immune system and protecting against numerous diseases. It also highlighted the physical and psychological benefits breastfeeding provides for mothers.

 The cluster encouraged mothers to make use of the consultation and support services offered at its healthcare facilities to help them establish and maintain successful breastfeeding practices.
 The campaign forms part of the Madinah Health Cluster's ongoing efforts to promote public health awareness and empower families to adopt healthy lifestyles, thus improving maternal and child health and enhancing the quality of life.
