Prince Fahd bin Sultan Promenade in Tabuk Remains a Tourist and Commercial Destination

Tabuk, July 31, 2026, SPA -- Prince Fahd bin Sultan Promenade in Tabuk remains one of the region's oldest tourist and commercial destinations, preserving its economic role while continuing to attract visitors despite urban expansion and the emergence of modern shopping centers.

Located in the heart of the city, the promenade is home to more than 320 commercial outlets offering a wide range of goods and services. Some shops have remained in operation across generations, while the promenade also hosts seasonal events and programs that help stimulate tourism and commercial activity.

The promenade has undergone redevelopment carried out by the Tabuk Region Municipality at a cost of nearly SAR20 million, in partnership with the private sector. The works included upgrading walkways, shopfronts, parking areas, sidewalks, and pedestrian paths, as well as making investment sites available. These improvements enhanced the promenade's appeal while preserving its historical character and architectural identity.

The promenade exemplifies how historic destinations can preserve their economic role while adapting to urban development, contributing to quality of life and enriching the tourism landscape in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
