Riyadh, October 22, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the Israeli Knesset’s preliminary approval of two bills seeking to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and legitimize sovereignty over an illegal colonial settlement.

The Kingdom reaffirmed its categorical rejection of all settlement and expansionist measures carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities, reiterating its firm support for the legitimate and historical right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant international resolutions.

The ministry also emphasized the need for the international community to assume its full responsibility by enforcing international legitimacy resolutions, halting all blatant Israeli violations against the Palestinian territories and people, and reviving the peace process based on the two-state solution to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.
