Van Cleef & Arpels invites visitors to Les Salons Dubai Opera to discover the Maison’s deep-rooted connection to the world of dance through its latest patrimonial exhibition: Ballerinas by Van Cleef & Arpels. On display from May 15th to June 30th, 2025, the gallery showcases a curated selection of dancer clips, capturing the timeless grace and elegance of dance. A tribute to Louis Arpels’ passion for ballet, the first Dancer clip was introduced in 1941. Since then, dance has remained a recurring theme in the Maison’s heritage, inspiring creations that reflect the poise, strength, and fluidity of movement. These emblematic feminine figures-crafted in yellow gold for daily elegance or adorned with diamonds set on platinum for evening splendor-embody the Maison’s signature style. Each ballerina is distinguished by delicate features: rose-cut diamond or golden bead faces, bejeweled hair ornaments, dainty pointe shoes, and airy tutus that appear to float mid-pirouette. The Van Cleef & Arpels Archives house sketches of dancers, revealing the precision and artistry behind capturing motion in miniature. These drawings provide a rare glimpse into the design process and underscore the Maison’s dedication to transforming ephemeral moments into eternal treasures.
