Ooredoo Kuwait Enhances Pilgrims' Travel Experience Through Special Hajj Campaign

Kuwait 25th May 2026- As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and customer experience, Ooredoo Kuwait has launched a special initiative at Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 4 to bid farewell to Hajj pilgrims ahead of the 2026 pilgrimage season, while also introducing an exclusive Hajj connectivity package tailored to travelers’ needs.

Recognized as the “Telecom Company of the Year,” the company said the initiative reflects its strategy of placing people and meaningful human connections at the center of its operations, extending beyond telecommunications services to create memorable experiences during important life moments.

The campaign was held at Kuwait Airways’ dedicated T4 terminal in collaboration with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Kuwait Airways. The airport activation welcomed pilgrims in an atmosphere inspired by traditional Kuwaiti hospitality, highlighting values of generosity, care, and community solidarity.

As part of the initiative, Ooredoo Kuwait set up a dedicated hospitality booth inside the terminal, where pilgrims were greeted and offered traditional refreshments, travel essentials, and Hajj-related necessities aimed at making their journey more comfortable and seamless.

Ooredoo team also engaged directly with travelers, answering questions related to roaming and communication services to help them remain connected with family and loved ones throughout their pilgrimage.

In support of local businesses and entrepreneurs, the initiative also featured collaborations with Ellena Bakery and Puresso Coffee, which provided complimentary coffee and snacks to pilgrims and travelers. The partnership aimed to spotlight Kuwaiti brands during major community-focused events.

In addition to that, the company also promoted its newly launched Hajj offers designed specifically to meet the connectivity needs of pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia. The package includes 2 terabytes of internet data with WhatsApp calling support, in addition to 2,000 outgoing minutes to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, all for KD 8 with a validity period of 15 days.

The offer also includes an additional promotional feature available during May, granting customers one free renewable day every seven days, reinforcing the company’s efforts to provide added value during important seasonal occasions.

Ooredoo Kuwait stated that the initiative is part of its broader social responsibility strategy, which focuses on creating impactful community-driven experiences and strengthening its connection with society. The company emphasized that the Hajj season represents a deeply spiritual occasion, motivating the launch of this initiative to support pilgrims both emotionally and practically before their departure to the holy sites.

Through its ongoing social and humanitarian initiatives, Ooredoo Kuwait continues to reinforce its position as a leading company whose role extends beyond technology and telecommunications to include supporting national and community initiatives aligned with the values of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The company concluded by reaffirming its commitment to launching innovative initiatives that combine advanced digital services with meaningful community engagement, while wishing all pilgrims a blessed Hajj and a safe return home.
