Fourth Day of King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival Sees 227 Falcons Compete in Seven Rounds for Local Amateurs

Riyadh, December 29, 2025, SPA -- Seven qualifying rounds for local amateurs were held on Sunday in the Milwah Race at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025 - the largest gathering of falcons in the world - organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its Malham headquarters, north of Riyadh, from December 25 to January 10, 2026, with broad participation from local and international falconers.

On the fourth day, 227 falcons competed across seven rounds.

The festival features 139 rounds, offering a total of 1,012 prizes worth over SAR38 million, across two main competitions: the Milwah Race (400 meters) and the Mazayen Beauty Contest.

The Milwah Race includes categories for owners, amateurs, professionals, and elite falconers, with separate rounds for local and international participants, while the Mazayen competition focuses on the aesthetics of falcons according to precise criteria, attracting falconers from various countries.
