To receive this card, members must have contributed to certain amount of environmental activities and have accumulated certain amount of points. These members are active environmentalists and thus have adopted the habits of a sustainable lifestyle.

On the 20th and 21st of January an entertaining educational workshop on the importance of nature conservation, earth preservation, recycling, and “going green” will be held for young visitors, organised by Bee’ah’s BSOE team.

Meera Taryam, Director of Environment Services & Education at Bee’ah, anticipates a positive participation from visitors and exhibitors alike regarding the green company’s involvement at the market. “This year’s Market OTB event bears a vital theme: that of Sustainability,” she announced. “Bee’ah’s mission statement is to provide sustainable solutions in environmental and resource management, thus we are delighted to contribute as an environmental partner at this first-class earth-conscious fete. We are especially looking forward to the positive impact our innovative and fun Reverse Vending Machines will have on the overall conservation-awareness of young market-goers.” She continued: “Last year’s Market OTB proved to be a great success, and we are honoured to play such a big role in the 2nd edition of this event. As the Market is part of the Dubai Shopping Festival, we get to share our Green philosophy with a much wider audience and we are delighted to reach further and go from strength to strength in this campaign for a sustainable future.”

The market’s 2nd edition will be held on the grassy lawns of South Ridge Park near the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai, where shoppers can peruse a wide selection of planet-friendly products as well as find entertainment in the form of music, free yoga classes, films, and delicious eats from more than 50 vendors.
