Over 85,000 Visitors Experience Eid Traditions from Six Islamic Cultures at Ithra

Dhahran, July 02, 2026, SPA -- Eid Al-Adha celebrations at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture “Ithra” attracted more than 85,000 visitors, who, over four days, experienced an exceptional cultural journey showcasing Eid traditions in six countries across the Islamic world.

The experiences extended across Ithra’s various facilities, presenting Eid through its most familiar elements - hospitality, storytelling, performances, workshops, and theatre.

The celebration brought together multiple cultures under one roof, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Morocco, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan, offering visitors the opportunity to learn about the customs and traditions of Eid in each country.

Traditional hospitality served as the starting point, with Saudi coffee and Omani karak at the Plaza, alongside Moroccan and Indonesian tea, Egyptian hibiscus, and Uzbek green tea.

The “A Story in Every Scent” activity evoked Eid memories through an aromatic experience exploring fragrances associated with each country, ranging from Taif rose and Omani frankincense to orange blossom and Uzbek apricot.
