Menzies Aviation surpasses $3bn revenue as record expansion powers future growth
  • Global revenue up 16% year-on-year to $3 billion (2024: $2.6 billion) - fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth
  • EBITDA reaches $406m (post IFRS16) with 13.4% margin
  • Record operational scale: 5.3m flights supported (14.5k per day) with 2.4m tonnes of cargo handled

2 April 2026, London: Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has announced record 2025 results, crossing the $3 billion revenue threshold for the first time and consolidating its position as the world’s largest aviation services provider. The company also became the largest aviation services provider in the United States, following the acquisition of G2 Secure Staff - doubling its U.S. footprint to 108 airports. 

The strong performance marks five consecutive years of double-digit revenue growth, driven by disciplined execution, strategic acquisitions and growing multi-service partnerships with its airline customers and airport partners. As global aviation demand continues its long-term upward trajectory, airlines and airports are prioritising operational resilience, efficiency and sustainability. Recent challenges, including geopolitical tensions, fluctuating fuel markets and airspace restrictions, have accelerated consolidation towards integrated aviation service partners like Menzies, which have the scale and expertise to support rising passenger and cargo demand and provide safe, secure and reliable operations during periods of uncertainty. 

Continued global expansion 

Menzies Aviation continued its expansion in key markets, adding 63 airports to its global network to reinforce its position as the world’s largest aviation services company by airports (347) and countries (65) served. Operationally, it supported 5.3 million flights worldwide, including 3.7 million fuelling turns and 1.6 million ground handling turns, while its cargo operations remained strong, handling 2.4 million tonnes across 76 facilities. The company also grew its workforce to 65,000, increasing global headcount by more than 13,000, and improving voluntary staff turnover by 13%. 

Strategic wins across key global hubs

Menzies delivered robust growth across all regions, securing major contract wins and expanding operations in key international gateways. Continued investment in safety, people, sustainability and innovation enhanced its ability to serve more customers in more locations with an unmatched, integrated service portfolio.

In the United States, Menzies secured new ground handling licences at Miami International Airport and New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy Airport, while also becoming the first international ground handler certified in Argentina. In Europe, the acquisition of Menzies’ largest cargo facility in Northern Europe at Oslo Airport strengthened Menzies’ cargo capabilities, while its fuels network expanded to 16 locations.  

Across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific, the company gained a 15-year ground handling licence at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR), launched operations at the new Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) in Luanda, and expanded at key hubs including Sydney and Hong Kong. Menzies also grew its Air Menzies International (AMI) operations in Auckland and India and continued enhancing the passenger experience through its expanding Pearl lounge network. 

Investing in people, sustainability and innovation

Menzies continued to invest in long-term operational resilience and sustainability, strengthening safety performance, reducing environmental impact and supporting employee development.  

The company exceeded its target of 25% electric Ground Support Equipment, supported by more than $200 million in fleet modernisation, and increased use of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). Its social impact also grew with the launch of its first global charity partnership with UK for UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, and hiring 60 refugees in Mexico. Menzies delivered 2.4 million hours of training, nearly 3,500 leadership courses and introduced a new Front of House uniform across 62 locations, diverting over 2,651 kilograms of old uniforms from landfill through recycling programmes. More than $700,000 in funding supported sustainable development partnerships, reinforcing its commitment to community and environmental progress.
