Riyadh, February 17, 2026, SPA -- SPL Group, through its logistics arm NAQEL Express, successfully transported the horses participating in the 2026 Saudi Cup for the fourth consecutive year. The event was organized by the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia from February 13 to 14 at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh.

The operation included the transport of 82 champions from leading international racecourses across 11 countries, headed by the legendary Forever Young, who was crowned for the second consecutive year with the world’s most valuable cup, along with a selection of prominent international horses. The process was carried out through specialized logistical arrangements covering regulatory and operational aspects to ensure the safety and comfort of the horses throughout the journey.

The horses arrived aboard cargo aircraft equipped with dedicated stalls and designated pathways, providing a safe and suitable transport environment using highly efficient technology.

The operation underscored the Kingdom’s ability to host major sporting events efficiently and highlighted the professionalism of SPL Group and NAQEL Express in handling specialized transport operations.
