 Riyadh, November 15, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcoming of the signing of the Doha Framework for Peace Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance 'M23 Movement.' The Kingdom looks forward to both parties committing to the provisions of the agreement, which contribute to addressing disputes and conflicts through comprehensive national dialogue. It also looks forward to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the restoration of security, stability, and prosperity across all regions of the country. The Kingdom further stresses the importance of protecting civilians and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to areas affected by the conflict. The Kingdom values the diplomatic efforts exerted and the constructive role played by the State of Qatar in achieving this agreement.
