Riyadh, August 14, 2025, SPA -- The first stage of the group matches of TEKKEN 8, part of the Esports World Cup (EWC 2025), began on Wednesday.

The matches resulted in eight players qualifying for the second stage: EDGE from the Korean team T1, ATIF from the Saudi team Falcons, eyemusician from the Korean team T1, Mangja from the Russian team Virtus.pro, JeonDDing from the French team Vitality, Arslan Ash from the Saudi team Twisted Minds, Knee from the Korean team DRX, and kkokkoma from the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere. The first stage of the tournament continues today with the remaining group matches. Eight more players will join the second stage, preparing for the tournament's decisive rounds.
