Kuwait, 01 November 2026: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) celebrated the graduation of four employees who successfully completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Dual Degree program at the American University of the Middle East (AUM) in collaboration with HEC Montreal. The Bank covered the full cost of their studies through KIB Life Academy, reflecting its continued commitment to investing in its employees and supporting their academic and professional development.

The employees’ graduation marks the culmination of an initiative launched by KIB in 2024 as part of its strategy to develop its human capital and provide employees with meaningful opportunities to continue their education and strengthen their capabilities. The initiative aims to enhance their readiness to keep pace with developments in the banking sector and contribute to the Bank’s future growth, while also aligning with KIB’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) approach.

Commenting on the occasion, Hadi Ibrahim Hadi, Acting General Manager of Human Resources at KIB, said: “We are proud of our colleagues and of what they have achieved after a journey that required considerable commitment and perseverance, particularly as they pursued their studies alongside their professional responsibilities. At KIB, this achievement reinforces the importance of investing in our employees and providing them with opportunities to expand their knowledge, strengthen their capabilities, and pursue their ambitions.”

Hadi added: “We believe that investing in human capital is a direct investment in the Bank’s future. Every new area of knowledge our employees gain and every skill they develop strengthens our ability as an institution to evolve and keep pace with change. This is why we remain committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and creating broader pathways for national talent to grow, advance, and take on greater responsibilities in the future.”

He noted that KIB Life Academy plays a central role in translating this approach into practice through a range of programs and initiatives designed to support employees’ professional and academic development. He added: “We want our employees to see KIB as a partner in their growth and development, not simply a place to work. This reflects one of the core meanings of our slogan, ‘Bank for Life’. As we celebrate our colleagues’ graduation today, we look forward to seeing how the knowledge and experience they have gained will be reflected in their roles and contributions across the Bank.”

It is worth noting that KIB Life Academy serves as the Bank’s main platform for learning and development initiatives, offering a range of programs and development pathways designed to address employees’ professional needs at different stages of their careers and foster a culture of continuous learning across KIB.
