Abu Dhabi, UAE, 18 August 2026: The ‘SEHA Family Run’ brought together more than 800 participants at Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 (ADSS26), organised by the ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, sponsored by ADNOC, and supported by Modon. As families and fitness enthusiasts gathered at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, for an evening of activity.

Organised by SEHA in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event welcomed participants of different ages and fitness levels, reflecting the broad community appeal of an initiative designed to make physical activity an enjoyable and shared experience.

Held in celebration of the ‘Year of the Family’, the run placed families at the heart of the experience, encouraging parents, children and community members to take part together and reinforcing the role that active lifestyles can play in supporting healthier families and stronger communities.

Participants took part across four race categories tailored to different ages and abilities. The programme included a 1KM Youth Run for participants aged 4 to 17 years, a 1KM Family Run for those aged 4 years and above, alongside 3KM and 5KM races for participants aged 9 years and above.
